A Personal Approach
We understand that getting a referral to a neurosurgeon can be a stressful and difficult time for you and your family. Our mission is to make your visit as comfortable as possible so that you can focus on healing. We strive to educate you on your condition and the treatment process so that you can make well-informed decisions regarding your health care.
During your initial consultation, Dr. Leary will conduct a thorough evaluation, review all medical records, provide a detailed examination, and develop a treatment plan. In some instances, further testing and imaging may be required. For many conditions, Dr. Leary will recommend conservative treatment in order to avoid surgery. However, if surgery is indicated, you will begin the surgery scheduling process.
To ensure a complete evaluation, please bring all CT scans, MRIs, angiograms, myelograms, and any other X-rays from other physicians or other healthcare professionals you have seen regarding your condition. Please bring actual images, not just the reports.

We accept most medical insurance plans. Please call our office at 858-223-2100 to verify coverage.
Fees & Payments
We make every effort to decrease the cost of your medical care. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover for your convenience. We are happy to submit all insurance billing for you. Insurance reimbursement can be a long and difficult process, however, our expert billing staff will work on your behalf to maximize your insurance reimbursement.
